Junked are the African Renaissance Party (ARP); National Democratic Party (NDP) and National Transformation Party (NTP).”
The commission had, 3 weeks ago, de-registered 28 others for allegedly falling short of the provisions of the rules.
The Secretary to the commission, Abdullahi Kaugama, in a declaration pointed out the workout was in “continuation of the exercise of the powers gave on it by the 1999 Constitution (as modified) and the Electoral Act, 2010 (as modified), the Independent National Electoral Payment (INEC) has de-registered 3 more political parties.”
