Titilayo, spouse of a Miltary Governor of the old Western Region, Brig-Gen Oluwole Rotimi (rtd.) has been kidnapped by gunmen in Ibadan.
It was found out that Mrs. Oluwole was kidnapped around 6.30 pm on Monday in front of her company, AOK Logistics Limited.
Mrs. Oluwole, whose husband was a previous Ambassdor to the United States of America in between 2008 and 2009, was kidnapped by 4 armed men while leaving her workplace.
When visited on Tuesday, the Ikolaba, Ibadan residence of the Rotimis was empty.
A source, that asked for privacy, said, “The kidnappers drove into compound and matched her into the car while her driver just looked and watched them take her away without any resistance.”.
Lanade described, “The way of apprehension is unusual when compared to similar cases of kidnapping.
“We discovered that there is a rift in between the lady and her workers over 3 months wage which brought about agitation by the aggrieved laborers.”.
