Titilayo, wife of previous Military Gov. of the aged Western State, Brig. Gen. Oluwole Rotimi (rtd), who was abducted by gunmen 2 weeks back, has been freed.
The woman was stated to have been found on the Lagos-Ijebu Ode Road, close to Ikorodu, Lagos State.
It was collected that her close friend, Mrs. Dupe Lawale, confirmed her freedom in Lagos on Friday night. Lawale is the Managing Director of Emmanuela Travels at Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos.
Police Public Relations Officer in Oyo State, Mr. Ayodele Lanade, claimed, “We discovered that she regained consciousness a little after being released by her captors. She regained consciousness and was crying. We learnt that she walked up to a lady that told her where she was and called her family.”
